Made with ❤️ for Nakade Family

This is my first project that I am truly proud of — not because of what it does, but because of who it is for.

It is almost 1 a.m. and I cannot sleep. I am just lying here, smiling — thinking about an app I recently built and what I want to say about it.

My parents do farming. They are not really into tech and they never really understood much of it. For ten years, all they knew was that I am an engineer. That was pretty much it.

Until yesterday.

My brother's work was all manual — writing in notebooks, keeping records by hand, doing everything the slow way. I decided to build him an app to automate that. And I made sure to build it in a way that they could understand — in Marathi, my mother tongue — so that even the workers who work with them would be able to use it easily. I made it as simple as I possibly could.

For the first time, I built something for them. And they could finally see what I actually do.

I have been working for almost ten years now. There was never a project like this. It is not a fancy project — it is a very simple app, and it took me just one day to build it. But the happiness was something else entirely.

There is a different kind of joy in solving a problem for the people you love. A different kind of peace. I felt like, for the first time, I supported them in some way. Like my knowledge was finally useful to my family — not just to a client or a company, but to my people. And that happiness — that happiness is not comparable to anything.

I was so excited watching them use it. That excitement — seeing the people closest to you actually use something you made — there is nothing quite like it.

I also feel grateful. Thanks to AI, we are now at a point — at least from a technology perspective — where you just need to have an idea. You need to have a real problem and a curious mind willing to try, and you can build almost anything. That feels like something worth saying out loud.

I am grateful I could learn this. I am grateful I could build this. And most of all, I am grateful I could help my people.

The app runs on React with Supabase as the database — so the data is real, reliable, and synced across devices. It works offline too, like a proper app on their phone.

The About page. Not required. Just because.

Oh, and I also added one page that was not required at all — his Instagram and his photo. Not because it was relevant to the app. Just because the developer is his sister, and she just wanted to show her brother off a little.

This is my first project that I am truly proud of — not because of what it does, but because of who it is for. It is simple. It is small. And it is the closest thing to my heart I have ever built.
