It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
On carrying pain in silence, letting go of what was never mine to hold, and what came after.
I met the saddest version of me this year.
I lost my spark. I lost my peace. I lost myself. I felt stupid. I couldn’t escape my own mind. I smiled and laughed around people while quietly falling apart inside.
This year showed me how much pain a person can carry in silence.
But it also opened my eyes.
I let go of people. I let go of the urge to find answers. I let go of explanations. I let go of the things that were never in my control. And I started to see people for who they really are.
I learned that not everything is meant to stay in my life.
And it’s okay to not be okay.
And maybe… just maybe, losing myself was the beginning of something amazing.
Still becoming, always.
